This page explains what information Death Date 3000 collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. We've kept this deliberately short because the site itself is deliberately simple.
The Calculator
The life expectancy calculator runs entirely in your browser. The age, sex, height, weight, and lifestyle information you enter is never sent to any server — it's used locally to calculate your result and is not stored, logged, or transmitted anywhere. Refreshing the page clears it completely.
Your appearance preference (theme and, on the calculator page, season) is saved in your browser's local storage so it stays consistent as you move between pages on this site. This stays on your device — it isn't sent to us or any third party.
The Contact Form
If you use the contact form, the name, email address, and message you submit are sent via Formspree, a third-party form processing service, to our inbox. We use this information only to respond to you. See Formspree's privacy policy for how they handle data in transit.
Fonts
This site loads two fonts (Press Start 2P and VT323) from Google Fonts. Loading a font from Google's servers means your browser sends a request that includes your IP address, similar to loading an image from any external website.
Cookies & Analytics
We do not currently use cookies, analytics, or advertising trackers of any kind. If that changes in the future, this page will be updated to reflect it.
Your Choices
- You can use the calculator without submitting any information anywhere — it works entirely offline once loaded.
- You can clear your browser's local storage at any time to remove your saved appearance preference.
- You can decline to use the contact form and reach us another way if you prefer.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
